It was obvious to me before the playoffs began that the Cowboys didn't belong. They never really played all that well this year. And they play in the NFC, so their record should get a minus 2.

...

Minnesota showed how bad they wanted to win. Cowboys showed that they belonged in the playoffs about as much as Detroit.

So you're saying the entire NFC East was unworthy of the playoffs? Dallas, Philly, and the Giants were all on the bubble and the Cowboys+Eagles snuck in. What does that say for the other teams that didn't make it? Who would you have put in the playoffs instead from the NFC? Detroit?

Well thats the thing, the only teams that really deserved to be in the playoffs from the NFC are Minnesota, New Orleans and Green Bay. Maybe Atlanta, but probably not. The NFC simply rarely produces more than 3 or 4 somewhat decent teams.
