Blowouts are what happens when teams realize their season is over. I know that doesn't make sense in your "I hate the Cowboys" world that has little bearing in the real world. Teams in road playoff games often fall apart in the fourth quarter, it is just part of the game. Happens a lot in the Super Bowl too if you haven’t noticed.

Then how come they happen early in the season, too. And actually, as I have noticed, blowouts don't happen all that often in the Super Bowl. As a matter of fact, the last one was in 2003 when Tampa beat Oakland.

PT Diff
Super Bowl XLIII 4
Super Bowl XLII 3
Super Bowl XLI 8
Super Bowl XL 11
Super Bowl XXXIX 3
Super Bowl XXXVIII 3
Super Bowl XXXVII 27
Super Bowl XXXVI 3
Super Bowl XXXV 27
Super Bowl XXXIV 7

In the last 10 Super Bowls, the point differential averages 9.3. But if you take out the two blowouts, the average is 4.875, which is within a score. I mean, 80% of the recent Super Bowls are not blowouts.

The Cowboys had a good season and lost so you will simply have to bank the rage for another season. I think they are setup to have a good season next year but I am sure they will lose a few games so you can find some joy in your life.
