You can get mentally involved in the strategy of the game. Physically going to a game and yelling and screaming can be a great way to let off steam. You can get just as emotionally involved in sports as you can a TV show or a movie. Fans see themselves as an important part of the team. The dynamic between the crowd an the stuff going on on the field is definitely lively. It's not just a sit back and watch type deal ... that would be totally boring. :P
