The press has a right to report what H&M and Wal-Mart do with unsold clothes.
The public has a right to voice an opinion on what H&M and Wal-Mart do with unsold clothes.
The public has a right to base their buying patterns on what H&M and Wal-Mart do with unsold clothes.

True on all counts. Callandor wasn't saying the public wasn't allowed to voice opinions on company policy, though. He was saying he was annoyed at the opinions being produced.
And my reply, to sumarise it (since you couldn't, perhaps, grasp it), was tough shit. Whining about not liking other people voicing their opinions just because you don't like them is pretty stupid - they probably don't like his opinion overly much either.

A problem these companies have is finding a honest non-profit charity to donate items to.
