coaches have also admitted for years that they can't possibly follow every good team in the ncaa so they basically all vote "me too" for most teams. with the way things turned out this year, i think any playoff at this level needs to first include all the undefeated teams before anyone else gets to play. but of course we'll keep rehashing these arguments for at least the next three years
