Ben is showing off again, and I like it!

Refresh, people, refresh and be merry!

I think I should take a picture of the now-prettily-lit walking path through the medieval city wall right by my house.

But there are lights up now? Make up your mind!

The ones in the city wall are the city's doing, there are also some lights hanging over the main street. People in general put up a few extra lamps now (1st of advent), but most decoration is done the couple of days before Christmas (Dec 22-23, we celebrate on the 24th). The extra lamps now are 1) a star hanging in windows or 2) a 7-lamp electric candlestick (see link). The latter are also in most all offices, providing some much-needed light in the Scandinavian winter, before the snow shows up.
