It is possible to have a kitty and be allergic...

I am leaning towards yes, and I am allergic.
Kitten will be the end of me.
Kitten will be the end of me.
My husband and I are both quite allergic to cats, and we have a whole bunch of them. We've basically built up a tolerance to our own kitties so they don't really trigger our allergies anymore.
Put us around other cats and we'll both be snuffling, sneezing, wheezing and coughing within minutes.
With each new kitty, we'd have a couple weeks of snuffling until we got used to the newcomer, but it wasn't so bad.
That's just our personal experience. Would also depend on how allergic you are.

Remember I loved only you...Remember me and smile...
For it's better to forget
Than to remember me
And cry

I saw a white kitten the other day with a red ribbon tied into a bowtie around his neck.

This video triggered the "maybe we should get a kitten" conversation again.

just spend some time in the room with a litter box, that should cure you. *NM*
