The alcohol claim is so ridiculous. Of course alcohol was involved. If not then something else was like drugs/pills. No one drives into a frickin tree AND hydrant in a sober state of mind. Of course, I'll add she could have had a gun/club and been chasing him but she doesn't really seem the nut type.
I'm guessing he was drunk.
