For instance, that one lists Brown at position 69, which is far below, among others, the University of Florida and UC Irvine. Eh... not exactly... trustworth. And the disparity between ranking systems becomes readily apparent. The US News & World Report ranking system (which actually just makes up data when schools refuse to supply it, but that's another story) lists Brown at 16, far above Florida and Irvine. And Forbes.com lists Brown way down at 76, 10 spots below, and I am not making this up, Kalamazoo College.
And the university I attend has been listed as the 20th best in the States (Dubious. Highly dubious). And also the 56th.
Worldwide it's been ranked the 54th best. And the 74th.
That's a bit of a range, no? And that's with 5 minutes of research. I've seen wilder ranges for my school alone.
