You should tell stories of your cute family.
I would just ignore him. It's Thanksgiving, for goodness' sake. He should leave the email until tomorrow at the least.
Failing that, I might send a snarky one-liner... "Happy Thanksgiving to you too," for example.
I did send an email back telling him that I am no longer going to check my emails while I am gone. He's done this to me the last four times I've been out (chicago trip, london, new york and now).
And yeah, been there done that on the "happy thanksgiving."

Sis and I were quietly minding our own business when my cutie-pie grandma started talking about having seen some of the music awards and how some of the dancers there were wearing nothing but tights that went down and showed off their "vaginas." I just about died trying not to laugh at her.
