It sounds like her sister is looking for a bit of self-importance and thinks that her experiences with baby-having will be a good way to create some. I'm thinking maybe there is a self-confidence issue in there somewhere. From my experience, I'd guess it's the older sister who feels like she doesn't do much anymore other than be a mom and is looking for some sort of validation on that point. Dunno though, could be the younger who's never been in the position of knowing more than her older sis and wants to help. People don't always know how obnoxious they are being.
