1 - Which teams / players do you sports hate?
The teams in my subject line, plus Derek Jeter, Tony Romo, Marion Barber & Donovan McNabb. And Joe Torre.

2 - Why?
If you have to ask, you can't understand. They just are what they are. The players I mention I hate because they are massively overrated. Romo flings the ball in the general direction of a player, his talented group of receivers catch it and run for more yard than he threw it, and everyone raves about his awesome skills, despite being generally bone-headed and a choke artist. He and Barber both have the luxury of a great offensive line and rose to fame with that line playing under a very good coach who carried Jason Garret to his wunderkind coaching rep, and get far more acclaim than either deserves. Romo & McNabb are hailed as the best quarterbacks in their division if not the top in the league, and never mind that neither has ever won a Super Bowl, despite both having had one of the best wideouts in the game on their teams.
Derek Jeter is entirely a creation of the NY media.
Joe Torre is a senile lump, whose managerial skill involved managing a team of All-Stars, who would have been equally successful if a monkey had made out their lineup card by throwing darts at the roster. His alleged "class" was proven in his departure from the Yankees in a huff, when after failing to win a World Series in seven years with the aforementioned All-Star team, the Yankee had the audacity to suggest his (guaranteed obscenely high)salary be linked to his performance. He promptly took over the LA Dodgers, swallowed up the spotlight himself, and has been given credit for their recent "success" and never mind that he inherited a perfect congruence of young talent maturing JUST AS he took over (kind of like what happened with the Yankees). Under his management, Manny Ramirez & Russell Martin have gone from All-Stars to duds, and the team's other stars are just playing at the level they have been working towards before he showed up.

3 - How do you react when someone else sports hates on your team?
Indifference. And it makes the victories that much sweeter.

4 - Have you like the author of the article found a reason to give up your sports hate?
No, because I am a fan, not a whore.

5 - Is there a player or team you sports love? (This team player can do nothing wrong, ever, you will defend them with your dying breath, etc., etc.)
You REALLY don't understand how this works, do you? True fans are their teams' worst critics.
