I've been to some sad funerals in my time, but none are worse than a funeral of someone who didn't believe in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord & Savior. Why? Because in that case, there is no hope...there is no peace...and death is hardly a release.
The saddest funerals I've been to are the ones where people who believe in what I consider to be a fairytale are placated with false hope in some sort of continued existence after death.
