I love food. So I'm going to make a survey about food.
What if your favorite type of food to eat? Not talking cuisine or specific dish here, but what general flavor/texture profile just makes you drool all over the table?
I don't think I understand the question here. But perhaps salty and non-dry?
What is your favorite cheese? Anyone who says "American" will be put out of their misery.
it really depends on for what usage: sliced on a piece of bread, I prefer a Swedish cheese called grevé, for gratains and stuff another swedish cheese called västerbottenost, if it is to be the base of some sauce, I'll go with some kind of gorgonzola, and with pasta it's parmesan which does the trick. of course, if it is on a cheese platter after eating, a roquefort is nice, but there should be a variety then... can't make do without the chèvre, and some hard cheese, and...
Do you eat any foods that are highly atypical of your region/culture? If so, give some examples.
well, I like my meat blue/rare, which is near impossible to get anywhere in this country, but it is not really atypical to younger people with taste buds... but honestly, I don't eat all that different from anyone else, I might have a tendency to try things a bit more often, though.
Do you ever eat something just because you have no idea what it is but totally want to find out? I'm not referring to food on the floor.
It can happen.
What is your favorite cut/form/type of meat? Vegetarians, you can put your favorite protein source
I am thinking roe deer. I think I prefer the saddle, but a nice steak works for me too. I would like to stress the point that I do not actually discriminate. I love eating all kinds of meat. Well, there are some fishies which are not very good.
What is your favorite vegetable? Fruit?
Meh. anything that is not celery, cabbage or tasting of anise.
Are you a chocolate person?
Honestly, no. I will eat chocolate, but I can be just as happy not doing that.
Beer, wine, or the hard stuff?
Yes, please.
Favorite international cuisine?
Thai and/or French
Are there any foods you're a total picky elitist about?
Yes. Just about any food, that is.
What is your guilty "omigod this is so bad for me" pleasure?
eh. Crisps with a dip sauce I make myself. It is not healthy at all.
Do you, in fact, truly love food?
Was there any question about this?
That's all for now I could do more, but it was getting kinda long ^_^
