No. The point of the article is to take credence from Al Gore (god, he doesn't have much left so why anyone would take the little he has is beyond me) by saying its wrong to invest his own, hard earned money into something that he firmly believes in which could likely gain him money (the point of investing). What is wrong with part of it being his own self interest? For one, that is what this damned country is built on.
