Anglicans have an incredibly strong identity.
I don't know about that, some have already left the communion, and you may have a schism. That said breaking the communion is different than joining (or as some see returning to) the Catholic Church. Part of what it means to be Anglican is to see yourself as not catholic, but traditionalist.
