Doesn't a JotP have the right to refuse people if they feel there is a legitimate problem with the union? Like, if they're completely drunk, for example. I'm not comparing the two situations. I'm just saying that there is a bit of a judgement call in being a JotP.
And that's why I figured you didn't peruse the other responses - that's pretty much what's already been discussed in this thread. Yes, judgement calls are permissible - no, judging against someone on a strictly race-based basis is illegal.
