I'm extremely thankful that they kept this type of layout. The other kind is a drag because you're forced to read through tons of dreck to get to the interesting parts of a post. Here you can pick and choose. You can spam while being able to skip over spam. You can choose whether you want to go into a rage or not because you can decide to read or skip subthreads made by people you hate This layout is so easy to use and makes checking on only stuff you're interested in a snap.

That said, it's annoying when the server is slow. But I can live with that.

And because a survey with just one question is lame (and the meteorological summer is finished tomorrow - on this side of the planet anyway):
