We don't have the receipt anymore!! Today I was going through our checking account when I noticed the Chili's bill form last week was nearly $10 higher than we signed off on. The waiter got a VERY large tip and since we don't have the receipt we can't prove it! GRRR! keep your receipts!


This is surprising to me. Usually, the restaurant will side with the customer every time. Especially in a situation like this. ALSO THEY have the reciept. Make them look for it. Seriously. This is likely not the first time the server has done this, but it might just be the first time they got caught. And that's all it takes. They CAN look back, trust me.

Also, when you call back *and you SHOULD call back* keep going up the ladder of responsibility until you get someone that will listen. If they don't? Write a letter.

It might not seem worth it, but if the server is stealing, it really is (worth it)
