And that will be the last nail in the WoT coffin. Look, I value shelf space in my library, and even though I find creative ways to add a foot of space here or there, I jettisoned WoT by throwing the books into a box that got cast into the furnace room. I really wouldn't be too upset if I opened the box to find water damage, a nest of rats or mold (well, I'd mind all those things, but not because of what happened to the books). WoT is dead to me. It's YA fiction that compares unfavorably to Harry Potter, the Chronicles of Narnia, the Chronicles of Prydain or Tolkien. Hell, it compares unfavorably to the Dragonlance Chronicles or the Darksword Trilogy at this point. Darksword had more sexual overtones than WoT and it was very clearly aimed at kids. No, WoT sucks, for too many reasons to be enumerated here.
