This series is based on the Harry Bosch novels by Michael Connelly. Unlike most such adaptations this one is extremely faithful to the books. That's because Connelly is the screenwriter and executive producer. What he has done, which I really like, is rather than have each season based on one novel he incorporates story lines from two or three books. Bosch is an LA homicide detective. Connelly is a former LA Times crime reporter, so the show is realistic. I have read all 19 of his novels. He is one of my favorite crime authors and the show is at the top of my list.
Here's my question. Prime releases the entire season, 10 episodes, all at once. Do I watch the whole season and then have to wait maybe a year for the next one? Or do I try to watch only one per week, if I can manage that level of self discipline?
