62.9 million people voted for the Current President even though he was accused by multiple women of Sexual harassment. 65.8 million people voted for the other person which was a Gal.

Obviously in the presidency it is more important to be a Guy just like it is more important for the presidency the final electoral vote total. Being a human being is not enough you have to be male to win the Presidency, just like winning popular vote total is not enough you need the to win the electoral votes in order to be president.

In TV it is more important to not have sexual harassment lawsuits and sexual harassment settlements of millions of dollars tied to your TV anchor, for even if your TV ratings are high, advertisers do not want to be associated with sexual harassment and they rather abandon rating generators for it is not worth having your TV product's image be associated with a sexual harassment associated TV anchor. Put another way, absolute ratings for a Cable News TV show is useless if those ratings do not translate into higher Ad Revenue. For example in TV Ratings the term for this is Key Demographic, for they look for not ratings of people as people but instead ratings of people that make them money.

In the Constitution the Key Demographic is not the will of the people, but instead the will of the states and the Electoral College. Doesn't matter about the legitimacy of a Electoral College Winner also being a Popular Vote loser, what matters is the system itself which is the constitution and we already agreed to use the rules of the system.
