When one can rattle off several major cities all cross Europe who've suffered from terror attacks. And you just know it's just your regular people...go to work or university or on errands someplace. It's rarely ever at something "establishment" (not that it would make it better). It just makes it that much more scary when you're just going to work or going home...and you end up in the middle of a story the whole world reads about.
As I'm sitting here, isn't going after Russia kind of a....risky?...move? Attacking the US, or one of the more main-liner EU countries is one thing, but attacking a nation run by Putin? That's, like literally, poking a bear. If/when public outcry gets frenzied about being attacked at home, I could very much see him going hardcore after someone.
Granted, I don't have decades of information/memory at hand, but I can't imagine anyone doing a terror act on the USSR, and getting away bombs, troops, and more bombs landing on the origin source.
