But seriously, come on. Comey wasn't trying to influence the election, new information was discovered, reported (as it should have been), and found to not be influential, so the case was closed.
except new evidence was NOT discovered. the evidence wasn't even connected to Hillary in any way, shape or form and he hadn't even gotten approval of a warrant to search the emails at the time he made his statement. but the fact he still issued a statement without any evidence -- and specifically ONLY to republicans in the House -- and used that to create a national media frenzy with less than two weeks till election day sure sounds like a Hatch Act violation to me.....
