I still hate him and think he is a national embarrassment but I think he is the most impeachable and at this point an early impeachment is the best we can hope for. Well that or a tie and the let the congress decide. They couldn't do any worse than the primary voters did. Just need to sway enough electorates to not vote as they pledged and get a reasonable third place finisher.

Random Thoughts, you know I respect you even though I disagree with you often (and often vehemently), but differences in opinions helps me be more insightful and make better decisions myself.

Can I challenge your statement, not because it is wrong, but just to be a devil's advocate?

Let's say Donald Trump is in the process of being impeached in the US House. Impeachment in the house only requires a 50% majority. Then time passes and the senate takes up the charges the house has approved and does a trial, 2/3rds of the senate is then required to fulfill a judgement on impeachment.

Well Donald Trump by his own admissions is a sore loser, by his own admission he is vindictive, and right now he is doing all of this distrust in the entire system saying there is stuff like voter fraud and there is international conspiracies meant to sabotage him and meant to sabotage his supporters. Wouldn't this be far worse if he was the US president and he does similar things during the time right before the US House does matters of impeachment, and even more so during the time right before the Senate takes up the trial.

Remember the US president can throw anyone in jail under terrorism charges even if no charges are listed (breaking habeas corpus). Sure this will go to the US Court but that takes time, and until the supreme court gets involved he can act with impunity, and if he feels vindicated that if someone is out to get him he would act like a wounded animal and break many established norms of how the law is supposed to work.

Random Thoughts this is not me trying to change your vote for president. I honestly can care less. I bring this up for your vote matters for you and you want your conscious to feel like you did the right thing. All I am posing is an advocating opposite opinion to give you more things to weight while you exercise one of the most beautiful things human society has created in its 5,000 years history. The right to self determination.

Good Luck to you and your family whoever you vote for in early voting, or on Nov 8th
