BTW, am I the only one thinking that there is some sort of karmic payback due for a nation that chooses to celebrate itself by commemorating such a revolting event? I mean, we celebrate the legislative adoption of a document explicitly setting forth our grievances and philosophical justification for the establishment of a new state. We don't celebrate the lynching of a bunch of helpless prison guards for the crime of working in a place that had had a bad reputation years before.
