They promoting hate and anti-police attitude in areas that more policing not cops that scared to engage because facts don't matter once the camera lights are on. Virtually every case they latch on to turns out to be BS. IT is racism to assume a person was treated poorly by the police because of their race when they is zero evidence to support that. Michael Brown was a thug who attacked a police officer but that did not stop them from ruining the life of the police officer and they still walk around shouting "hands up don't shoot" despite the fact the entire hands line has been proven to be BS.
You can't litigate perception and being angry and end your face may make great TV but they have taken that approach to the point where it is doing them more damage than good. At some point the black community is going to have to face the reality that the way they are treated is at least partially based on they way they behave.
if cops can't do their job as public servants with public scrutiny of their methods, they should probably find a different job. you're going to try to pretend that cops don't treat black people differently? with at least a dozen police shops under Federal investigation for racist policies -- including supposedly lefty loonie San Francisco, you can honestly say that cops should not be called out when they act against the public interest?
John Crawford was gunned down by police in a walmart in Toledo for carrying a BB gun he picked up off the shelf. Ohio is an open carry state. at no point did Crawford do anything other than walk around a walmart with a BB gun talking on his cell phone, but he was shot within five seconds with no verbal warning. meanwhile, a 19 year old white kid walks around with a loaded shotgun and the cops just talk to him and let him go. why does Crawford not get the benefit of being able to explain himself? why does Tamir Rice not get the benefit of having to explain himself? why is it ok for cops to tell all the black kids to get out of the pool and they don't belong, when they're at the party they threw for themselves, at the pool in their own neighborhood?
newsflash for you: treating black people the same as yourself does not mean your rights are diminished in any way. it just means they are allowed to be humans, just like you aspire to be.
