Would you like to die on the word of one snitch who lowered his own sentence by implicating another? LiterateDog Send a noteboard - 30/09/2015 09:28:03 PM

I know you can be a bit of an apologist for the police and the State, but c'mon, you really think this guy should be killed by the State on so little evidence? This case STINKS.I don't care what a jury found. They find lots of bullshit all the time. Juries are neither holy nor infallible. They didn't see all the evidence, and because of procedure, never will. All current, known evidence says this man is plausibly innocent, and yet he is going to DIE. You can't even send someone down for a short jail term unless there is no reasonable doubt per a jury, but you'd have the State in essence murder this fellow on a "probably/maybe" just to be "tough on crime". We KNOW there are a lot of people how have been murdered by the state. Not executed, but murdered, because we KNOW now that they were indeed innocent. Killing an innocent is murder, no matter under whose agency it happens. Do you want to add another person to this list? I guess, if this case is anything to go by, it has become "better to let 10 innocent men die than let one guilty man go free". Aren't you so proud?
