What problem do you have with the statement?

I took the liberty of copying the part they misquoted here.

"When this happens, they release a lot of energy – about one million times more powerful than a chemical reaction and 3-4 times more powerful than a fission reaction."

This is accurate in that a fusion reaction is more powerful than a fission reaction and releases MORE energy. It might release more energy, and you can measure that, but it is not more "powerful" energy. It is more plentiful energy.
