His stats speak form themselves and no BS excuses foe his receivers change that. I know that since he is starting QB for ESPNs home team people are used to hearing the excuses but that makes them no more BS. Maybe if Manning was a better QB more of his receivers would be considered elite.
You could believe whatever BS makes you happy and cling tight to the idea that two rings cover the simple fact that ELi's stats show him to be a slightly above average QB but looking at both of the career numbers it is clear Eli is not at the same level as Romo, he isn't even close.
No he clearly had the ball secured, he even switch hands with it and as you noticed he made a football move when he took three steps and extended his arm and the clearly secured ball towards the goal line. The BS excuse given was he didn't extend it far enough. It is like being pregnant, either he extended the ball or he didn't. One thing is clear is that there was no conclusive evidence to justify overruling the official who was standing directly over the play and if it was any other team you know you would agree.
