It's all such a big mess, and I am getting increasingly pessimistic about it ironclad Send a noteboard - 11/01/2015 11:21:45 AM

The extremists in all camps involved just piss me off. I am so fed up with all of them:

  • The Islamists, naturally.

  • The European and American right wing nut jobs who are secretly clapping their hands in joy for getting more narrow-minded, scared and uninformed followers who want their countries Muslim-free and can't tell a refugee from a terrorist. The current tendency in Germany is already sickening.

  • But also the Muslims who start posting "we were insulted by the cartoons, but this is not us" the same day. I am glad to hear they are not with the terrorists, really! But the mere fact that they were insulted by a cartoon about their deity (a drawing of someone who probably doesn't exist!) is already part of the problem.
That's why I have even more respect for the brave Muslims who kick ISIS ass down there.

I see more attacks of this "smaller" scale happen in the near future, I see more people getting afraid of Muslims in general and follow the wrong national ideologies and political agendas instead and I don't see the good and decent Muslims step up enough and drag the extremists from their huts.

It all just shows that extremism on each side of the spectrum is only gonna lead to death and sorrow and I fear it still has to get worse before it'll get better. I know I have no solution.

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.
