I maxed out the chart again this week and it's only Tuesday. In fairness, Sunday was a really, really heavy drinking day because it was the one-year anniversary of a very unexpected death, and last night was a company party for a client/friend's company that I went to with my girlfriend. So yeah...ow. In two days I maxed out that chart. Not a drop until New Year's for me. Well, maybe not. Saturday I might have a bit. A tiny bit.
Yeah, I'm getting a bit old for this Thankfully my family barely drinks (except at table).
January is somewhat quieter, except for the company's New Year party around the 20th (it replaces the x-mas party traditionally -we're too busy in December for that -, though the international group the agency's part of held one this year), and this year we'll have our team's ski week-end too in January, but three colleagues bring the kids, so there shouldn't much partying until they're all asleep, and it should be fairly quiet partying..
But it all sounds way more unhealthy than it actually is Parties aside, it's the sort of workplace with a pool and a gym and well-attended fitness classes before 9am or at lunch. Bad food is even practically banned, since everyone considers the fast food account non edible and same for the soda account (American brands, neither of which are much to Canadian tastes) and all the other fast food or soft drinks competitors of our clients more to our tastes aren't allowed.
