I had a bit of a chat about Crimea with my Ukrainian schoolmate. I showed him a picture from Hesari with the Finnish def minister Haglund wearing a tie with the Ukrainian colours and said that this is the extent of our sympathy for you.
Haglund is one of the better ones though.
I would perhaps rather see Finland swim with Russia's help than sink with the total disregard of the EU. Politically impossible, of course. A united front against Russia in trade sanctions and all that BS. Also, I may loath the Baltic states just a bit, trading one slavemaster (SUN) for the other (USA).
The schoolmate was from West-Ukraine. I may have sensed a degree of chilliness from his side during our chat
