Here is nice Mexican soup.
Take 1lb of pork steak (yes the cheap cut) and cut into one each cubes add bones as well.sPut 1-2 table spoons of shorting into pot and brown the pork chops. Add one undrained can of corn and one undrained can of tomatoes. One chopped yellow onion and 4-5 cloves of garlic.
1/2 TBS of cumin
add 2 lbs of Mexican squash cut into 1/4 inch slices abd cook on medium until squash cookdown soup forms. Salt and pepper to taste.
I may be a little light on the squash. Basically you fill the remainder of pot we squash. I never really measure when I cook this.
