How are they supposed to win any elections if their base, the uninformed and uninterested, do not vote?
Jokes aside I think you are right. I try and stay pretty informed but I still find myself voting on propositions and I totally unqualified to be making decisions on. Why do I have to tell them how to spend highway dollars? Isn't that what I pay them for?
Judges are even worse. I must have voted for twenty judges on Tuesday and I have never heard of any of them. Who the hell thought that would be a good idea?
