View original postI thought this was pretty interesting when I came across it. Check it out. They have a lot of other maps that help explain other historical things also like WWI and the Middle-East.

I always tend to forget that Alexander had already made it to India, so it doesn't seem unreasonable that trade routes to the far east remained in place once Rome took over.
