Sort like when it was revealed that Obama spent twenty years attending the church of a hate filled racist lunatic the press has given the issue the most cursory of glances then not only urged even to move along but have viciously attacked anyone who claims there is more to the story. An American ambassador was attacked and murdered by terrorist. The president of the United knowingly sent out an underlying lie and mislead the American people about the circumstances of the attack to help his reelection bid. That is bad enough but the medias eager acceptance and wiling to give him them top be such politically motivated whores that they should sued for fraud for claiming to be journalist. More than anything else a democracy requires a free and unbiased media to keep the populace informed and the politicians honest. When they so blatantly takes sides anyone paying attention and not sipping put of the Kool-Aid cup is not only offended but loses faith in the system. The rise of groups like the tea party can be blamed on media in which a majority of the country has lost faith.
If you are a typically liberal you will spot some sort of inane nonsense about Fox News and they convince your self is all BS but ask yourself this. If an ambassador was murder as a result of insufficient security and Bush has sent out his cronies to lie would press have taken a quick look and then scurried along pretending nothing happened? A bit hard to believe that when you look at how long CBS clung to a story based on forged stories.
There does not have to be a crime for there to be a scandal worthy of investigation but it appears the does need to be a republican in the White House.
