After a few "test" apologies, this fool is now crying on air to try to save her job. Time to can this wingnut.
Why? Are you all that interested in protecting MSNBC? Let her stand on her record, instead of letting MSNBC flush her down the memory hole and replace her with someone who will say everything that Harris-Perry would on any given issue, but with a clean slate for a while.
For my money, the most obnoxious thing about her apology was the rationale for why she owed one. Sort out the victimology jargon, and she is saying "I am apologizing, because the only measure of a speaker's words is the opinion of those who claim to be offended by them." Letting her get away with that nonsense benefits the left a lot more, because they have the media-enshrined professional victims, and can use Harris-Perry's principle to shut up any political statement with which they disagree.
The media is the real enemy here on both the left and the right. Fox News (and the right) will jump on MSNBC for things they do wrong and MSNBC/CNN (and the left) will jump on Fox News for things they do wrong. It's more about a battle for souls and ratings than legitimate right and wrong. The thing we need to agree on here is that the media's powerful propaganda mouth piece steering the minds of the people to how they want them to think is the real enemy. It's not the content of the media, its the method of the media we need to care about. Think for yourselves and who gives a crap what he or she said and what their opinions are. Now, let me get back to shaping my tin foil hat.
