Thinking that all the smart people think like them does not prevent adult liberals from thinking they are non conformist. They believe theybare an elite group of forward thinkers who are the only ones who truly understand the way things work. From what I can tell the less practal experience they have on an issue the deepervthat belief. Take poverty as an example, most whire liberals thar have met had very little personal experience with poverty but think they not only understand but can fix it.

The conseratives are a little harder to nail because the base is so fragmented. You have social conseratives who tend to care mostly aboutthings like abortion and libertarians who seem to care most about legalizing pot. They really don't like each other and it is really only their distrust of goverment and their love on guhs that hold them together at.
