Trees don't make it to the middle of the car if you're going the speed limit. Did you see the footage of that car? It was demolished in a way that doesn't happen at 45 or 55. I hit a rock wall going 55 and my car wasn't even CLOSE to as damaged as that. Besides, the cops on the scene, who are trained in determining that sort of thing, were saying the car had to have been going well over 100.
