Possibly the single most respected man on the planet - a reputation that good tends to be to some extent exaggerated in most cases, perhaps also in his, but he most definitely deserves credit for making the solutions for South-Africa look simple and obvious when for decades they were anything but. It's up to his successors to continue down his path and fulfill the promise of the "Rainbow Nation", they haven't always looked like they were up to the task, but then these are big shoes to fill.

He will definitely be an inspiration for generations of leaders to come, though.
