There has been a dusting here and there in the past, even a bit of accumulation from time to time, but now it is really, REALLY coming down. It's so beautiful I felt like a little kid again. The flakes are freaking huge, you'd be hard-pressed to dodge snowflakes on your tongue if you wanted to stick it out, and you can walk a few blocks down to see what the village center looks like and by the time you come back, your footprints have been mostly filled in, and every step has that popping snow sound that's like popping bubble wrap but even BETTER.
I've lived here for two months now and I have been waiting for this the whole time, and its totally worth it. I love being back in the north, and even my wife, the Texan, was like a little kid despite the cold.
This is truly fantastic.
