For zoning purposes it's being used as a residence. Don't be daft. Tom Send a noteboard - 20/11/2013 02:24:54 PM

People are living there and paying rent to the owner. If there is a different person every night you could theoretically say that it's a hotel, but if they stay for extended periods of time and sign leases, it's no different than if I rented my house out for short periods of time. Or do you really think that every beach house that is rented out for the summer is in a "business" or "mixed use" zone? Hell no. Use your head, man.

It's not a business if it's being used as someone's residence.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

For the door, yes. For the holiday let, I don't think so. - 16/11/2013 09:58:30 AM 909 Views

It's more irritating that grave, but I do worry about security to an extent. - 16/11/2013 07:47:02 PM 838 Views

Not always, according to what title deeds and zoning restrictions say. *NM* - 16/11/2013 10:32:20 PM 402 Views
