so, the only thing republicans got out of the shutdown was ...slightly stronger verification of income for Obamacare subsidies? $24 billion out of the economy and we'll be playing this same game in three months when the current deal reaches its end. meanwhile, the head of the heritage foundation said this yesterday: "everybody knows that we're not going to be able to repeal this law until 2017, and that we have to win the Senate and win the White House." followed by Raul Labrador saying it's "absolutely false" that the gop wanted to repeal Obamacare, even though he cast quite a few votes to do just that of the 42 (and counting) repeal bills. which begs the question, WTF was this shutdown really about if not the repeal of Obamacare? i mean, besides ted cruz stroking his own ego in front of everyone....
