More like the left hive does not know what the right hive is doing; Republicans are NOT cat herders. Joel Send a noteboard - 04/09/2013 09:57:07 PM

Though their need of that skill has admittedly greatly risen recently, and it IS fun watching how clumsy inexperience makes them.

View original postBeing of the hive mind mentality you have trouble with none hive mind thiniking. Here is a shocker, republicans do not all agree on this subject.

Right, but it is interesting and telling no Republicans rise to even their own defense when fellow Republicans savage them right along with positions shared with the president. Guys like Sen. Paul and Rep. Hunter cheerfully ripped into senators McCain and Graham by name for supporting a strike on Syria without congressional approval, yet the Republicans attacked by fellow Republicans pretty much just sat and took it. Evidently defending both themselves and policies they feel vital to US security was a worthwhile sacrifice to their party railing against Obama.

Now the shoe is on the other foot as Obama seeks congressional consent as Paul, Hunter and many other Republicans demanded for months under threat of impeachment, and Republicans on the other side of the issue are finally rising to defend strikes with or without congressional approval—by blasting Obama and ignoring those in their own party who forced him to seek that approval. One could go blind looking for instances of Paul, Hunter or any other Republican saying, "those in my party calling a congressional resolution needless and cowardly are wrong,; the president is right to seek one." Just as McCain and Co. never bothered to say, "those in my party forbidding a strike without congressional consent are wrong; the president is right to act without their permission."

In short, GOP>USA, even when The International White House of Waffling forces the partys foreign policy poles must take turns as the leading voices declaring which position the GOP fervently and unanimously condemns as unconstitutional.

"Hive mind," indeed; the GOP is so diverse it cannot keep a presidential nomination race going past St. Patricks Day. Whichever insider corrals the most corporate donors gets the nomination, and the runner up gets the next one. Makes it very amusing watching Paul, Cruz and the rest run around pretending the GOP establishment winner-take-all presidential primary would ever permit them doing what Obama did to Hillary. The grass roots country club party.
