Not high art, but quick reads that move fast enough to remain engaging, yet not so fast as to be disjointed. I would wager most people who have read it do not recall the big reveal at the end of the last one though, even if, IMHO, it adds some gravitas to the whole series by representing cyberspace as springboard to greater things.
