I find them frankly to all be very snobbish about it. They are quite often uppity when I tell them I buy my fruits and vegetables from the store and that while I'm not against growing organic foods or buying at farmer's markets, etc. sometimes I don't have the time to pursue such things or the money. The disdain I receive is clear and not a one ever says anything like, "Well, that's understandable, do what you have to do." I don't argue it with them, they can do whatever they want but as far as I can tell nobody I know has ever gotten cancer from baby carrots grown by Monsanto. I've been eatign chicken from the store, beef, pork, fish, vegetables, fruit and on and on for 37 years and I'm not dead. The lecturing, the sermons, the looks of disdain and the attitudes toward things like Wal-Mart or McDonald's are just obnoxious. What really cracks me up though is when I tell them I eat the fish I catch out of the local lakes. They cop attitudes!!! Fucking idiots.
