I think maybe I've misinterpreted your intentions, and it doesnt help that I express myself poorly.

I'm not saying that as a biracial person he shouldn't embrace both sides of his heritage. I just wish that it didn't matter.

Since it DOES matter, I don't mind that HE says it, and I usually only have that annoyance issue with the "he looks black, so he's black" when it's used in a derogatory way. On TV, I have seen both blacks and whites correct news anchors or round table mods, that "Obama's not black, he's biracial".

I think in my attemp to clarify I have made it worse. I'm tired and I'm going to sleep now.
