He obviously can't/couldn't identify as white (but why not, damnit?!). If he had indentified as biracial, I think the black community would have possibly (probably?) been upset. If the furor over that fucking Cheerios commercial is any indication, we are clearly still a racist lot. The whole thing baffles me, honestly. I guess I just wish people could be ok with what they actually are. I have hope the future.
