Now they both have one and can stop bitching at each other. It's funny how one was a pre-Olympics Tour made for a TT who can climb, and the next was the 100th insane tour, made for a Climber who can TT. Perfect race for both really.
As for the whole British thing. He's raced under a UK licence since 2008, long before the media knew or cared who he was. He is pretty much an example of the modern sportsman, born in Kenya to a British father who lived in Kenya and mother who was born in Kenya to emigrated Brits, brought up in South Africa, his brothers were educated in Rugby, moved to UK to race on his British passport, and now lives in Monaco with his Welsh-born South African fiance...
